Russia's role in Syria's attack

Syria and its most powerful ally, Russia, blame Israel for striking an air base in Syria on Monday, following a chemical gas attack. Russia's Defense Ministry claimed two Israeli warplanes launched airstrikes in central Syria. Israel and Russia have typically coordinated their military actions over Syria for deconflication since Russian forces entered the country. However, a spokesman for Russians President, Putin, said there had been no contact between Israel and Russia before and during the airstrike on Monday. This was a "cause for concern" because of the lack of communication. Syria earlier thought about the possibility that the United States was behind Monday's strikes.

Tension between the United States and Russia is now increasing. US Ambassador deeply criticized  Russia by saying "Russia could stop this senseless slaughter, if it wanted. But it stands with the Assad regime and supports it without hesitation". President Trump warned Russia, Iran, and Syria of a "big price to pay" following the attack. President Trump condemned the attack, blaming Iran and Russia for supporting the Syrian government ."The United States calls on Russia to end this absolute support immediately and work with the international community to prevent further, chemical weapons attacks". It is confirmed that Israel carried out these strikes against a Syrian air base early Monday morning and they informed the U.S. in advance.

  1. It is sad to see things only getting worse with these countries. I have been hoping that things were going to get better but that doesn't look like it's the case. I think that they need stop with these bombings before things get worse.
